TRENDnet TPE-S50 6-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch (60W)

Detailed Specifications

The TRENDnet TPE-S50 is an unmanaged 6-port Fast Ethernet PoE+ switch designed to deliver data and power to PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points. It's an ideal solution for small-scale network environments that require a straightforward, plug-and-play device for deploying powered devices without the need for complex configuration. Housed in a compact and durable metal chassis, this switch is well-suited for either desktop placement or wall-mounted installations in quiet environments thanks to its fanless design. This switch provides a total PoE power budget of 60W, distributed across four 10/100 Mbps PoE+ ports, capable of supplying up to 30W per port. This ensures ample power for devices compliant with both IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. In addition to the four PoE+ ports, two standard 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet ports are available for connecting other network devices like workstations or network attached storage. The switch features a 1.2 Gbps switching capacity, ensuring smooth data flow and preventing bottlenecks across the connected devices. Deployment of the TPE-S50 is exceptionally simple due to its unmanaged, plug-and-play nature. There is no software to install or configuration needed, making it a highly efficient choice for rapid network expansion. Its compact form factor and wall-mountable design offer flexibility in physical placement, allowing it to be installed discreetly in various settings. The switch's sturdy metal housing enhances its durability for long-term, reliable operation.
