TRENDnet TPE-1020SB 10-Port Gigabit Web Smart PoE++ Switch

Detailed Specifications

The TRENDnet TPE-1020SB is a 10-Port Gigabit Web Smart PoE++ Switch designed for small to medium-sized business (SMB) networks that require advanced traffic management and high-power PoE capabilities. This rack-mountable, IPv6-ready switch serves as a robust solution for deploying high-power devices such as PTZ cameras, advanced IP cameras, and high-power wireless access points. It addresses the need for a centralized power source and granular network control within a compact, efficient footprint. At its core, the switch leverages IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet (PoE++) technology, delivering up to 95W per port. This high-power output, combined with a total PoE budget of 180W, allows installers to power demanding devices directly over existing Ethernet cabling, significantly reducing installation complexity and cost. The unit's 20Gbps switching capacity ensures smooth data flow even when all ports are active. Designed for deployment in a standard 19-inch rack, the TPE-1020SB fits seamlessly into existing network closets. Management is handled through an intuitive web-based GUI, providing administrators with tools for traffic prioritization (QoS), network segmentation (VLANs), and bandwidth control. An innovative PoE alive check feature automatically reboots unresponsive PoE devices, enhancing network reliability with minimal intervention.
