TRENDnet TPE-TG84 8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Network Switch
Overview :
The TRENDnet TPE-TG84 is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit PoE+ switch designed to reduce equipment and installation costs by delivering both data and power over a single Ethernet cable. It serves as a straightforward and reliable solution for connecting PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points in small to medium-sized business environments. This switch is built for deployments where simplicity and reliability are paramount. Engineered for efficiency, the switch provides eight gigabit PoE+ ports, supporting the IEEE 802.3at/af standards. With a total power budget of 120W, it can supply up to 30W per port, accommodating a versatile range of powered devices. The 16Gbps switching capacity ensures that data flows smoothly between all connected devices without creating network bottlenecks, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications like video surveillance. Its compact, fanless metal housing makes the TPE-TG84 ideal for desktop or wall-mounted installations in noise-sensitive environments like offices or reception areas. The plug-and-play nature of this unmanaged switch means no configuration is required, allowing for rapid deployment. LED indicators provide at-a-glance status for power and port activity, simplifying network monitoring for IT staff.
