The Eaton Tripp Lite N262-008-BK is an 8-foot Cat6a 10G Ethernet patch cable with shielded twisted-pair construction, male-to-male RJ45 connectors, and a black PVC jacket. It is designed for connecting switches, servers, routers, patch panels, and other 10Gbps network equipment.
The cable uses 26 AWG stranded copper conductors and supports 10 Gbps Ethernet at 500 MHz. Its STP construction helps protect network links from EMI/RFI interference, while snagless RJ45 connectors protect the locking tabs during installation.
It is suited to data centers, server rooms, network closets, and rack deployments requiring shielded Cat6a connectivity. It supports PoE/PoE+ devices. Because it is STP cabling, it should not be selected where the installation specifically requires unshielded UTP cabling.
