The Eaton Tripp Lite N262-S03-YW is a 3-foot Cat6a 10G Ethernet patch cable with shielded twisted-pair construction, male-to-male RJ45 connectors, and a yellow PVC jacket. It is designed for connecting servers, switches, routers, patch panels, and other network equipment in high-density data centers and network closets.
The cable uses 28 AWG stranded copper, four-pair construction, and supports 10 Gbps Ethernet. Its slim design is more than 38% smaller than standard Cat6a cables, helping reduce cable congestion and improve airflow in dense racks. Shielding provides EMI/RFI protection, while snagless connectors protect RJ45 locking tabs during installation.
It is suitable for short rack connections, patch panels, switches, and PoE-enabled network devices. The STP construction is intended for installations requiring shielded Ethernet cabling and should not be selected when unshielded UTP cabling is specifically required.
