The cable uses 28 AWG stranded copper, four-pair construction, and supports 10 Gbps networking. Its slim design is over 38% smaller than standard Cat6a cable, helping reduce cable congestion and improve airflow in dense racks. Shielding provides protection against EMI/RFI line noise.
The 1-foot length is suited to short equipment and patch-panel connections. It supports PoE and PoE+ applications. Because it is shielded STP cabling, it should not be selected where an unshielded UTP cable is specifically required.
