Overview
The Eaton Tripp Lite N262-002-BK is a 2-ft Cat6a shielded twisted-pair Ethernet patch cable with snagless RJ45 male-to-male connectors. It is designed for 10GBase-T connections between switches, servers, routers, hubs, patch panels, and other network equipment in data-center and high-density network environments.
The cable supports 10 Gbps transmission and uses 26 AWG stranded copper conductors. Its STP construction helps reduce EMI/RFI interference, while the 500 MHz rating supports Cat6a high-speed network applications. The 6.2 mm cable diameter provides a conventional round patch-cable construction.
The N262-002-BK supports PoE, including IEEE 802.3at PoE+, and uses snagless RJ45 connectors with integral strain relief. It is appropriate where shielded copper patching is required; UTP cabling is preferable where shielding is unnecessary or where a smaller cable profile is specifically required.
