Overview 

The Eaton 9PX3000RT is a professional-grade online double-conversion UPS designed for enterprise racks, edge IT closets and mission-critical power environments where uptime, efficiency and space-savings are paramount. With a 3 kVA (3000 VA) / 2.7 kW rating at a 0.9 power factor, it delivers full real-load capacity for servers, network equipment and storage systems. Its topology is fully online double-conversion, supplying true sine-wave output with ±1 % voltage regulation, meaning that even during mains fluctuations, connected gear continues undisturbed. The unit comes in a 2 U rack/tower convertible form-factor – mounting in a 19-inch rack or as a pedestal. Internally, the batteries are hot-swappable and replaceable with field-service modules, and the system supports up to four external battery modules (EBMs) to extend runtime when needed. A graphical LCD display gives the engineer real-time information on load, runtime, battery health and warning thresholds. Communications include USB, RS-232, remote on/off terminal blocks and a Mini-Slot expansion port for network cards (such as SNMP/Web). Certified for ENERGY STAR and seismically-rated installations, the 9PX3000RT is suited for data-centres, network closets and enterprise infrastructure where resilient power and efficient footprint matter.
