Overview :

The APC SRT8KRMXLT is a double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed for protecting high-density rack infrastructure in enterprise IT environments. It is commonly deployed by data center engineers, network administrators, and infrastructure teams who require continuous conditioned power for servers, storage systems, and critical networking equipment. The unit isolates connected loads from utility fluctuations while providing battery backup during power failures.

This UPS provides 8kVA / 8kW output capacity with 208V input and output, delivering pure sine wave power through a double-conversion online topology. It supports multiple high-current outlets including four NEMA L6-20R and two NEMA L6-30R connectors along with a hardwired output connection. The system maintains stable output frequency synchronized to utility power and keeps voltage distortion below 3%, ensuring compatibility with sensitive IT loads.

The SRT8KRMXLT is built for rack deployment in 42U cabinets and enterprise racks, occupying 6U of rack space. It is commonly installed in IDF rooms, MDF distribution racks, edge compute cabinets, and small data centers where centralized power protection is required for multi-server racks or high-draw networking equipment.

Integration is supported through a pre-installed network management interface and SmartSlot expansion, enabling remote monitoring through infrastructure management platforms such as APC power management systems or SNMP-based monitoring tools. USB and serial management interfaces allow integration with shutdown software and automation systems.
