The APC SRT1500RMXLA-NC is a 1500 VA / 1350 W double-conversion on-line UPS built to deliver continuous, conditioned AC power and backup during utility anomalies. It targets IT engineers, data center technicians, and network architects who need zero-transfer power protection for servers, storage arrays, networking gear, and critical appliances in 120 V infrastructure.

This UPS maintains pure sine wave output, isolates loads from brownouts, surges, and frequency variations, and includes a pre-installed network management card for remote monitoring and control out of the box. It integrates into standard rack environments and supports up to 10 external battery packs to extend runtime as demands increase.

Form factor is 2U rackmount with included rail kit and convertible to tower if needed, making it suitable for enterprise IDF/MDF racks, remote office closets, and compact server rooms requiring high-availability UPS protection without consuming excessive space.

Monitoring and management tie into central platforms such as EcoStruxure IT and PowerChute for automated shutdown and telemetry. The integrated SmartSlot interface leverages the pre-installed network card for secure network-based management.

A practical deployment is backing a rack of virtualization hosts and SAN storage with coordinated graceful shutdown and SNMP alerts to a central monitoring system. Runtime can be scaled via external battery packs where maintenance windows or generator start delays demand longer hold-up. Conversely, this UPS should not be used where 208 V or higher commercial power systems are the norm, as its 120 V design limits its deployment to low-voltage infrastructure.
