Overview :

The APC SRT2200XLA is a double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed to provide continuous conditioned power for critical IT infrastructure operating within a 120V electrical ecosystem. It is deployed by network engineers, system administrators, and facilities teams responsible for maintaining uptime for servers, network switches, storage appliances, and laboratory equipment. The UPS isolates connected equipment from voltage fluctuations, harmonic distortion, and utility outages while supplying battery-backed power during electrical interruptions.

The system delivers 2200VA / 1800W output capacity through a double-conversion architecture that continuously converts incoming AC power to DC and back to AC. This topology eliminates transfer delays during power failures and produces a stable sine-wave output with less than 2% voltage distortion. Input power is provided through a NEMA 5-20P plug, and the UPS distributes protected output through six NEMA 5-20R outlets and one NEMA L5-20R outlet, supporting mixed rack or tower IT loads from a single UPS source.

The UPS conditions incoming power and provides several minutes of battery runtime, allowing systems to perform controlled shutdown or maintain operation during generator startup.

This UPS should not be deployed in environments requiring 208V or 240V rack power distribution, or installations using high-density rack PDUs with L6-series connectors. Facilities operating exclusively on higher-voltage infrastructure require UPS models designed for those voltage ecosystems.
