Overview :

The APC SRT3000RMXLT-NC is a double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed to deliver continuous conditioned power to rack-mounted IT infrastructure operating on a 208V electrical ecosystem. It is deployed by infrastructure engineers and facilities teams responsible for maintaining uptime for servers, storage systems, and network switching platforms in enterprise and edge computing environments. The UPS isolates connected equipment from voltage fluctuations, frequency variations, and utility interruptions while providing battery runtime for controlled shutdown or generator transfer.

The system provides 3000VA / 2700W output capacity using a double-conversion architecture that continuously converts AC input power to DC and back to AC. This design ensures zero transfer time during utility failures while delivering a regulated sine-wave output suitable for sensitive IT loads. Input power is delivered through a NEMA L6-20P connector, while output distribution is provided via two NEMA L6-20R outlets and one NEMA L6-30R outlet, supporting multiple 208V rack devices from a single UPS source.

In infrastructure deployment, the unit occupies 2U of rack space within standard 19-inch server cabinets, making it suitable for branch data centers, IDF and MDF network closets, and edge compute racks where rack density and power protection are critical. The rack-mount design integrates directly with existing server cabinets and can support virtualization hosts, storage arrays, and network aggregation equipment requiring stable 208V power.

The "-NC" variant ships with a pre-installed network management card, enabling remote monitoring, alerting, and power control across IP networks. This allows integration with centralized infrastructure monitoring platforms and automated shutdown tools. USB and serial communication interfaces support direct integration with servers and hypervisors for graceful shutdown procedures during extended outages.

A typical deployment example is a small virtualization cluster or network aggregation rack operating in a 208V rack power environment. The UPS provides clean power to the rack PDU while maintaining runtime long enough for application shutdown or generator switchover.

This UPS should not be deployed in 120V branch-office environments using NEMA 5-series outlets. Infrastructure without a 208V or 240V circuit and L6-series connectors will require a lower-voltage UPS platform designed for those electrical environments.
