Overview :

The APC Smart‑UPS SRT5KXLTUS is a double‑conversion online UPS engineered to deliver continuous 208V AC power conditioning and battery backup for critical IT and network infrastructure. Infrastructure teams and data center engineers deploy this platform to safeguard servers, storage arrays, networking gear, and edge compute stacks against power disruptions, sags, surges, and frequency anomalies typical in commercial power feeds. The online topology eliminates transfer time to battery, maintaining clean power delivery under all conditions.

The system provides 5400 VA / 4800 W of rated capacity with a pure sine‑wave output suited to modern server power supplies and active PFC loads. It operates on a 208 V electrical ecosystem, with support for 208–240 V output options to align with facility power distribution. Input power is connected via a NEMA L6‑30P locking plug, and protected outlets include NEMA L6‑20R and L6‑30R receptacles for direct device connections or upstream PDUs.

The chassis ships in a tower form factor with optional rackmount conversion kits available, allowing flexible deployment in server rooms, data center cabinets, and wiring closets where rack infrastructure is present or anticipated. Integrated network management capabilities and an embedded SNMP‑compatible network card provide remote monitoring, alerting, and shutdown control through centralized management platforms.

Runtime at full load is approximately 4–5 minutes, sufficient to bridge generator startup or to allow orderly shutdown procedures when paired with PowerChute or similar automation tools. Half‑load runtime extends to roughly 12–13 minutes, with additional runtime achievable via external battery packs.
