Overview
The Ubiquiti UVC-G6-Entry is a UniFi G6 Entry intelligent door entry system combining a 5MP camera, access-control features, NFC connectivity, and two-way audio in a compact wall-mountable enclosure. It integrates natively with UniFi Protect and UniFi Access.
Camera and Video
The main camera uses a 5MP CMOS sensor with a 1920 × 2560 resolution and a maximum frame rate of 30 FPS. Its field of view is 100° horizontal, 135° vertical, and 180° diagonal. Built-in IR illumination and an IR cut filter provide night vision up to 5 m (16 ft).
Access and Entry Features
The G6 Entry supports Face Recognition, NFC card and keyfob access, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, mobile unlock, and Face Unlock. An Access Hub is required to enable door-access functions such as NFC, Face ID, and Interface Designer configuration, and both UniFi Protect and UniFi Access applications must be installed for those access features.
Audio and Communication
The device provides two-way audio through its integrated microphone and speaker. It also supports two-way intercom and doorbell access, allowing the unit to function as an entry communication terminal as well as a camera and access interface.
Networking and Power
The UVC-G6-Entry provides one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interface and supports BLE 4.1 and NFC connectivity. Power is supplied through PoE+ with a supported voltage range of 42–57V DC and maximum power consumption of 16W.
Installation and Protection
The G6 Entry supports wall mounting and gangbox mounting, with a 20° wedge mount included according to Ubiquiti's specifications. The enclosure is aluminum, with stainless steel, SGCC steel, polycarbonate, and aluminum used for the specified mounting components. IP55 weatherproofing and IK07 tamper resistance support indoor and outdoor installation environments.
