Overview :

The Eaton U442-DOCK8G-GG2 is a Tripp Lite by Eaton USB-C travel docking station designed to expand a compatible laptop, Chromebook, tablet or computer into a multi-display workstation. It supports up to three external displays through two HDMI outputs and one USB-C video output.

The dock supports up to 8K at 30 Hz through USB-C and up to 4K at 60 Hz through each HDMI output. With a compatible DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode host and DSC support, the three video outputs can operate simultaneously in dual 4K/60 Hz or triple 4K/30 Hz configurations. Actual video capability depends on the host device, cables and connected displays.

The U442-DOCK8G-GG2 also provides USB-A and USB-C data connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, SD and microSD card slots, and USB Power Delivery 3.0. The USB-C PD input supports 100W total, with 85W available for charging the connected host after 15W is allocated to powering the dock itself.
