Overview
The Eaton P582-006-HD-V2A is a 6-foot active DisplayPort 1.2a-to-HDMI adapter cable with male DisplayPort and male HDMI connectors. It connects a DisplayPort-equipped computer or graphics card to an HDMI monitor, projector, HDTV, or other compatible display.
The active adapter supports 4K × 2K resolution at 60 Hz, HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, audio, and EDID. It does not require a separate power adapter and supports both Single-Mode and Dual-Mode (DP++) DisplayPort outputs.
The 6-foot length is suited to workstation, conference-room, digital-signage, and professional display deployments. It should not be used for HDMI-source-to-DisplayPort conversion because the cable is designed for DisplayPort output to HDMI input.
