Overview
The Eaton P582-006-8K6 is an active DisplayPort 1.4a-to-HDMI 2.1 adapter cable with male connectors on both ends. It connects a DisplayPort-equipped computer or graphics source to an HDMI display, projector, or television.
It supports video up to 7680 × 4320 at 60 Hz, with 48 Gbps bandwidth, HDR, DSC, and 4:2:0, 4:2:2, and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. HDCP 1.4, 2.2, and 2.3 are supported.
The active design converts both Single-Mode and Dual-Mode (DP++) DisplayPort output, so DP++ is not required. The 6-foot cable is suited to high-resolution workstation, digital-signage, conference-room, and professional display installations.
Both the DisplayPort and HDMI connectors incorporate retention features for improved connection security. It is not suitable for MST applications, as Eaton specifies MST support as not supported.
