Overview :
The NVIDIA MCA7J65-N005 is an active copper breakout cable used by network and storage engineers to split an 800 Gb/s OSFP link into two independent 400 Gb/s QSFP112 channels. It supports InfiniBand NDR-class fabrics and is designed to interconnect high-speed switches to host adapters or DPUs. The cable uses an equalizer (ACC technology) to maintain signal integrity over medium-length runs up to 5 meters. It's suitable for HPC clusters, AI clusters, and scale-out data center topologies. Directionality requires the OSFP end toward switches and QSFP112 ends toward compute nodes and NICs.
