The NVIDIA 980-9IAM3-00X02A is a 1.6Tbps OSFP active copper cable designed for high-density InfiniBand and Ethernet fabrics used in AI and HPC clusters. It provides direct-attach copper connectivity with integrated signal conditioning to maintain signal integrity at extreme data rates. This cable supports short-reach interconnects between switches and servers in rack-scale deployments. It is commonly deployed in NVIDIA Quantum-X800 environments where ultra-low latency and high bandwidth are required.
