Overview
The EATON DIN24480DC is a 480W, 24V DC DIN Rail Industrial UPS designed to provide battery backup and power protection for industrial control panels, automation equipment, networking, computing and other DC-powered applications. Eaton identifies it as a DIN-rail UPS with hardwired 24V DC input and output.
The unit uses a standby UPS topology, mounts directly to a 35 mm DIN rail, and requires the separately sold BPDIN24XL external battery module. Up to four BPDIN24XL modules can be used to extend runtime. With one battery module, Eaton specifies approximately 3 minutes at full 480W load and 10 minutes at half load.
