Overview

The APC ACDC2553 is used in NetShelter aisle‑containment systems to adjust for changes in rack row depth. When you have 42U VX racks and the containment aisle depth ranges between 900 mm and 1,200 mm, this adapter lets you maintain a continuous containment ceiling or duct without compromising the thermal barrier. Engineers deploy it when containment runs need to span deeper rows, or when retrofitting containment over an existing rack footprint. It ensures that airflow containment remains effective and that the overhead structure stays aligned.
