The INTELLINET 508438 SFP+ 10G Passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Twinax Cable provides cost-effective, high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet interconnectivity engineered for short-distance server and switch links. Designed for network architects, data center administrators, and IT technicians, it serves as an energy-efficient, low-latency alternative to optical transceivers and Cat6a RJ45 connections.

Constructed in a 3.0-meter (10 ft.) length, this cable features factory-terminated SFP+ male connectors at both ends to enable direct electronic attachment to active networking gear. Built using 30 AWG twinaxial copper wiring with an overall braid shield, it minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI) while delivering signal latency lower than standard twisted-pair copper runs. Consuming less than 0.15 W per end, its thermal-efficient design generates virtually no heat, allowing stable operation in high-density rack setups across temperatures up to 70°C.
