Overview

The APC AR7708 is an airflow management accessory designed for NetShelter SX enclosures. Its purpose is to prevent warm exhaust air inside the rack cabinet from recirculating to the front intake by sealing the vertical gaps between mounting flanges and enclosure side panels. The kit supports both 42 U and 48 U enclosure heights, offering full-length coverage. It integrates with existing rack frames and does not consume usable U space, making it suitable for data centers, telecom rooms, and enterprise equipment closets. Ideal for installations with high-density equipment and active cooling, the AR7708 enhances thermal performance and reduces hot-spot formation in row or rack cooling strategies.
