Overview :

The HPE JW679A is a dedicated wireless LAN controller designed for mid-sized branch or campus environments, used by network engineers to handle centralized management of up to 32 access points and around 2,048 concurrent devices. It supports 16 10/100/1000BASE-T ports plus 2 SFP uplinks and includes a 150 W PoE+ budget to serve powered devices directly. It fits in either edge, branch or campus network segments where wired and wireless need unified control, VLAN segmentation (up to 4,094 VLANs), and policy enforcement at the network edge. The controller integrates seamlessly with the ArubaOS platform and can be managed via Aruba Central or Mobility Master, making it suitable for wired-wireless convergence, traffic tunnelling and timely deployments in remote sites or regional offices.
