Eaton N034-05N-BL Tripp Lite Cisco Console Rollover Cable Adapter

Overview:

The Eaton N034-05N-BL is a Tripp Lite Cisco Console Rollover Cable Adapter designed to convert a standard RJ45 Ethernet patch cable into a Cisco-style serial rollover connection. It is intended for Cisco modems, routers, switches, console servers, firewalls, and other network equipment using RJ45 serial console ports that require a rollover cable.

The adapter uses RJ45 male-to-female connections and internally rolls the pin configuration from straight-through to rollover. Its narrow male RJ45 plug helps maintain access to adjacent ports in densely populated switch and router environments.

The 5-inch / 12.7 cm adapter has a blue PVC jacket and molded blue ends for quick identification in network closets, server rooms, and data-center environments. Eaton/Tripp Lite specifies compatibility with Cat5/5e and Cat6 Ethernet cabling.
