Overview :

The TRENDnet TC-NTUF is a small adapter module designed to expand the testing capability of the TRENDnet TC-NT2 network cable tester by enabling USB (2.0) and FireWire (IEEE 1394) cable tests. When attached to the TC-NT2 master or remote unit, it allows engineers to verify continuity, pinouts, cross-wiring, and opens in USB and FireWire lines — functions not native to the basic TC-NT2. This adapter is useful for field technicians, system integrators, and data center engineers who encounter mixed cabling environments. It is NDAA / TAA compliant, making it appropriate for government and enterprise usage.
