The StarTech BOX4HDECP is a professional-grade boardroom connectivity solution designed to streamline presentations and eliminate cable clutter. It solves the common frustration of searching for the correct video adapter during meetings by providing a recessed, in-table hub that offers universal video inputs—HDMI, VGA, Mini DisplayPort, and Composite—all converted to a single HDMI output for the room’s display.

This connectivity box features automatic switching technology, which detects the most recently connected device and instantly displays its content on the screen. It also supports manual switching via a front-panel button. The unit is designed to be installed flush with the table surface, featuring a hideaway flip-up cover that keeps the ports protected and out of sight when not in use. Additionally, it includes a USB charging port to keep mobile devices powered during long collaborative sessions.

Optimized for conference rooms, lecture halls, and huddle spaces, the BOX4HDECP supports high-definition resolutions up to 1080p and includes discrete audio support for VGA and Composite inputs. It is not recommended for 4K video environments, as it is limited to a maximum output of 1920x1080, nor for tables where a deep under-desk clearance is not available for the mounting enclosure.
