Overview
The Ubiquiti UACC-G5-PTZ-ICM-SB-B is a black in-ceiling mounting accessory with a smoked bubble cover for the UniFi G5 PTZ camera. It supports a recessed installation that integrates the camera into a ceiling while providing a smoked cover over the camera assembly.
Installation and Compatibility
This accessory is designed for the Ubiquiti G5 PTZ camera mounting system. Before installation, confirm that the ceiling construction and available space accommodate the mounting assembly and that the selected installation position provides the intended camera coverage.
Key Features
- In-ceiling mounting configuration for the UniFi G5 PTZ camera.
- Smoked bubble cover for a more discreet camera appearance.
- Black finish for integration with compatible ceiling designs.
- Designed for use within the Ubiquiti G5 PTZ mounting accessory range.
Applications
Suitable for planned ceiling-mounted surveillance installations in commercial premises, offices, retail environments and other locations where a recessed PTZ camera installation is required.
Important Operating Consideration
Ubiquiti specifies that infrared illumination, the floodlight and the status light must be disabled when using the smoked bubble cover. Account for this limitation when planning camera settings and low-light surveillance requirements.
DC Supplies Product Note
Check the camera's intended lighting configuration before selecting the smoked bubble cover. Because the infrared illuminator and other specified lights must be disabled with this cover, installations that depend on the camera's built-in illumination require particular attention to lighting conditions.
