This security accessory enables Department of Defense (DoD) and government environments to enforce user authentication for printing, copying, and scanning functions using smart card credentials. It is intended for IT security administrators, government facility managers, and defense contractors requiring CAC-based access control for classified or sensitive document workflows. The kit solves the problem of unauthorized printer access and ensures compliance with federal security mandates by restricting device functions to authenticated card holders.
