Overview

APC AR7581A is a vertical cable management accessory designed to conceal and organize cabling within NetShelter SX rack enclosures. Data center technicians and infrastructure engineers deploy this accessory in high-density rack installations to maintain organized cable pathways while protecting patch and power cables routed through vertical cable managers.

The product consists of snap-on hinged covers designed for 42U vertical cable management channels in 750 mm-wide NetShelter SX enclosures. These covers attach to existing vertical cable managers to conceal bundled network and power cables while still allowing quick access for maintenance or reconfiguration tasks.

In rack deployments where switches, patch panels, and servers produce large cable bundles, open cable channels can obstruct airflow and complicate service access. The hinged cover design allows technicians to quickly open the channel to perform cable changes without removing the entire management assembly. This approach improves cable accessibility while maintaining a structured cable routing path along the rack sides.

These covers integrate directly with APC NetShelter SX 42U vertical cable managers and are designed for tool-less installation within compatible rack enclosures.
