Eaton 9PXMBAT – External Battery Module

Overview :

The Eaton 9PXMBAT is an external battery module designed to provide additional runtime or restoration of runtime for Eaton 9PXM modular UPS systems and external battery modules (EBMs). It uses sealed valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) cells arranged as one 60 V unit per module, with two modules required to form a 120 V battery string. The unit is hot-swappable, allowing installation without shutting down connected equipment. It is intended for deployment in data-centres, server racks, or other mission-critical environments where the 9PXM UPS is used, and integrates directly into the 9PXM system via matching backplanes and connections. Its design supports scalable backup runtime expansions and maintenance-free operation in standard rack or tower configurations.
