Overview

The Eaton BINTSYS is a battery integration system accessory engineered to support large‑capacity Eaton 9PX uninterruptible power supply installations. IT engineers and data center technicians deploy this enclosure to consolidate UPS electronics, external battery modules (EBMs), and ancillary power components into a single, mobile footprint for serviceability and efficient space use.

This system provides a structural platform with integrated swivel casters and leveling feet designed to accommodate Eaton 9PX series UPS units with ratings from 5 kVA up to 11 kVA and compatible external battery modules. The mobile base supports heavy equipment movement and alignment during installs, while hardware anchors and cable routing features aid orderly wiring and secure assembly.

BINTSYS is intended for data center hot‑aisle/ cold‑aisle racks, IDF/MDF closets, and enterprise power infrastructure cabinets where high‑capacity UPS and battery stacks require stable, consolidated support. Its tower form factor integrates with standard 19‑inch rack planning and helps maintain airflow clearances by organizing power infrastructure outside of traditional rack shelves.

Integration requires placing the Eaton 9PX UPS and associated external battery modules onto the system’s mobile frame. Lockable casters facilitate placement and repositioning without lifting heavy modules, and the included hardware kit secures individual components into an integrated stack. Once assembled, the platform preserves access for maintenance and service later in the deployment lifecycle.

A typical deployment consolidates a 9PX 6 kVA or 9 kVA UPS with one or more external battery modules on the BINTSYS platform in a network rack row. This delivers a unified footprint for runtime extension and simplifies electrical connections to upstream power feeds and PDUs.

This accessory is not a UPS or UPS power source; it does not provide power conditioning or battery backup independently. It should only be used with compatible Eaton 9PX UPS models and associated external battery modules that match the integration system’s supported capacities.
