The APC BR1500G Back-UPS Pro is a 1500VA/865W line-interactive uninterruptible power supply designed to provide battery backup, surge protection, and voltage regulation for computers, networking equipment, home-office systems, and other connected electronics.
This exact BR1500G model operates at 120V and provides ten NEMA 5-15R outlets. Five outlets provide battery backup and surge protection, while five provide surge protection only. The outlet configuration also includes Master and Controlled outlets for APC's power-saving functionality.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps correct certain utility-voltage fluctuations without relying on battery power for every variation. The UPS uses a stepped approximation to a sine wave when operating from battery power.
An integrated LCD display provides UPS status information, including load and battery indicators. Audible alarms provide notifications about changes in utility power and UPS operating conditions. The unit also provides data-line surge protection for compatible network and communication connections.
