Overview

The APC BX1350M is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered to deliver AC power continuity and surge protection for critical electronics, networking gear, and small servers during utility disturbances and outages. It's deployed where clean, uninterrupted power and orderly shutdown capability are required without complex infrastructure, such as home office labs and small business racks.

Rated at 1350 VA / 810 W capacity, the unit uses automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to correct incoming voltage fluctuations × reducing reliance on battery support for undervoltage or overvoltage conditions × and provides seamless voltage conditioning within defined input thresholds.

The UPS integrates a multifunction LCD status console to present real-time information such as load level, battery capacity, and event conditions. Line-interactive topology with a simulated sine wave output and a typical transfer time of 8-10 ms ensures connected loads remain powered through transient mains anomalies.

Outlets are arranged to separate battery-backed and surge-only receptacles, allowing segmentation of critical versus non-critical loads to preserve available runtime for essential equipment. A sealed, maintenance-free lead-acid battery supports runtime during power loss and recharges automatically when mains power returns.

This unit is not a standalone generator; it requires mains AC to charge the internal battery and to provide regulated output. It does not provide true sine wave output and may not be optimal for highly sensitive medical or precision industrial equipment.
