Overview
The Eaton A130-DNT-ENC is a versatile two-channel analog audio encoder designed to bridge traditional audio equipment with modern Dante audio-over-IP networks. This device enables seamless integration of non-Dante analog audio sources, such as mixers, amplifiers, and speakers, into a Dante ecosystem. It is an essential component for installations requiring robust and flexible audio distribution, making it ideal for studios, live events, and large conference venues where a mix of analog and IP audio devices coexist. This encoder supports balanced and unbalanced two-channel analog audio transmission, converting it to Dante digital audio for network distribution. A key feature includes adjustable audio gain, offering settings of +18dBu, 0dBu (default), and -10dBV, ensuring compatibility and optimal signal levels across various audio equipment. It also supports multiple audio sampling rates, including 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, and 96 kHz, all at a 24-bit resolution, providing high-fidelity audio performance. Designed for flexible deployment, the A130-DNT-ENC can be powered directly via Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a compatible network switch, simplifying cabling and installation in diverse environments. Alternatively, it can operate with an optional DC 12V power supply when PoE is unavailable.
