Overview
The APC AP4421A is a rack-mount automatic transfer switch (ATS) engineered to preserve AC power continuity for single-powered IT equipment by automatically switching load between two redundant 230 V sources. It's deployed by data center engineers, electrical infrastructure teams, and facilities support personnel where sustained AC supply is required in telecom, server, and network racks.
