Overview

The APC AP4431A is a 2U rack‑mount Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) used to provide redundant AC power feeds to single‑powered IT equipment. It is typically deployed by data center and network engineers to maintain continuous operation during upstream power source transitions.

This ATS is rated for 30 A at 208 V AC single phase, with a 4,992 VA load capacity and dual NEMA L6‑30P inlet connections. Output is provided via a single NEMA L6‑30R outlet, allowing connection of critical devices that require seamless input switching.

Mechanically, the AP4431A occupies 2U of standard 19″ rack space and includes mounting hardware and rack brackets. Remote monitoring and control are supported via integrated management interfaces for status tracking and event logging.
