Overview :
The Logitech 980-000910 Bluetooth Audio Adapter is a compact receiver designed to add wireless streaming capabilities to existing powered speakers or home stereo systems. It addresses the common challenge of integrating modern, wireless audio sources like smartphones and tablets with legacy audio hardware that lacks built-in Bluetooth connectivity. This device is ideal for home or small office environments where high-quality audio systems are already in place, eliminating the need for a complete and costly equipment overhaul. This functionality provides a seamless operational benefit, as users can switch between streaming audio from a tablet to a smartphone without the need to disconnect and re-pair each time. The unit is engineered for high-quality acoustics and provides a reliable wireless connection, ensuring a stable and clear audio experience. Physically, the adapter is a small, discreet unit intended for easy placement near the audio system. It connects to powered speakers, A/V receivers, or stereo systems via standard 3.5mm or RCA jacks, offering broad compatibility. Management is straightforward, with a single push-button for pairing and an automatic re-pairing feature that simplifies daily use by connecting to known devices when in range.
