Eaton P131-06N Tripp Lite HDMI to VGA with Audio Converter Cable 6 in
The Eaton P131-06N is a 6-inch HDMI-to-VGA converter cable designed to connect a computer, laptop, or Ultrabook with an HDMI output to a VGA display or projector while providing a separate 3.5 mm stereo audio connection. It supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and 1080p.
HDMI to VGA Video Conversion
The P131-06N converts the digital HDMI output from a compatible computer into an analog VGA signal for connection to a VGA monitor, projector, or other compatible display. Its HDMI male connector connects directly to the computer, while the HD15 female connector accepts a standard VGA cable.
Separate Stereo Audio Output
A 3.5 mm female stereo audio connector provides an audio output for compatible speakers or other analog audio equipment. This allows the HDMI source's audio and video to be separated for use with a VGA display that does not receive audio through its VGA connection.
Key Features
- HDMI male to HD15 VGA female converter
- 3.5 mm female mini-stereo audio output
- Supports up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and 1080p
- Plug-and-play operation with no external power required
- 6-inch compact cable design for computer-to-display connections
DC Supplies Product Note
The P131-06N is particularly useful when a computer has HDMI output but the available display or projector accepts VGA. The separate 3.5 mm audio output also provides a practical way to connect analog speakers when the VGA display does not handle audio.
Applications
- HDMI laptops connected to VGA monitors
- Desktop PCs connected to VGA projectors
- Classroom presentation systems
- Conference room displays
- Office workstations using legacy VGA displays
- Digital signage and presentation equipment
