The MPO12PL10M is a 10-meter high-density fiber optic cable designed for high-bandwidth data center applications and backbone infrastructure. It features 12-strand MPO female connectors on both ends, serving as a critical component for high-speed network links between 40G (QSFP+) and 100G (QSFP28) transceivers or high-density patch panels. This cable solves the challenge of managing multiple fiber strands by consolidating them into a single, high-performance connection.

Technically, the cable utilizes Laser-Optimized Multimode Fiber (LOMMF) with an OM3 rating. This allows for reliable 40Gbps and 100Gbps transmission over short to medium distances in enterprise environments. The cable is configured in a Type A (Straight-Through) polarity, ensuring correct pin-to-pin alignment for standardized network connections. Each connector features a push-pull tab for rapid deployment and extraction in high-density racks where finger access is limited.

Constructed with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, this cable is optimized for safety in environments with poor ventilation or high-occupancy areas, as it minimizes toxic and corrosive gas emissions in the event of a fire. It is fully compatible with all 50/125 multimode fiber equipment. This cable is not intended for use with single-mode (SMF) transceivers or in configurations requiring Type B (Crossover) polarity without appropriate adapters.
