Overview

The HPE J9776A is a 1 U rack-mount managed Layer 2 switch designed for enterprise edge or branch deployments requiring full Gigabit access without Power over Ethernet. It provides 24 autosensing 10/100/1000 Mb/s RJ-45 ports alongside 4 fixed Gigabit SFP fiber uplink ports, enabling flexible connectivity options between copper access and fiber uplinks. The switch offers high performance×56 Gb/s switching capacity and up to 41.6 million packets per second forwarding×allowing for heavy access-layer traffic loads. Equipped with advanced access-layer security (ACLs, 802.1X, sFlow), IPv6 host support and Energy-Efficient Ethernet, it is suited for campus access, wiring-closets or branch-office installs. The 2530 series design supports deployment in racks, on desktops or wall-mounted, and is tailored for mobile-first environments where wired and wireless access are converged.
