It’s compatible with a wide variety of HPE Aruba 5400R zl2 switch series models for versatility. Since it comes with eight, this expansion module increases your switch’s connectivity options. It uses the GbE and 10 GbE data link protocols to enhance connectivity. The eight-port HPE expansion module comes in a plug-in form factor for fast and easy installation. Its compact construction saves server room space. With SFP+ ports, this expansion module supports fits in high-density enterprise applications. It has a lightweight build that simplifies manipulation to allow quick setup and maintenance.The Aruba expansion module has a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps, which helps improve data throughput. It supports PoE+ technology that allows the transmission of power and data via a single interface to reduce unsightly clutter. This switch complies with the IEEE standard 802.1AE standards to enable the use of Media Access Control security (MACsec) functions.
