The 800GB/1.6TB LTX800G LTO Ultrium 4 Data Cartridge from Sony is a tape backup cartridge that can store up to 1.6TB of compressed data, or 800GB of uncompressed data. It is capable of transfer speeds of 120MB/sec in native mode or 240MB/sec in compressed mode. The tape features A3MP technology, superior tracking stability, and an ultrasonically welded shell for maximum data protection.
- Avail the storage capacity of 800GB for native data and ratio is 2:1 for compressed information. So, you can record up to 1.6TB compressed information in this cartridge.
- Transfer speed is also double than the previous generation and now you can transfer the data as fast as 120MB/Sec for native data.
